Receptionist/ Medical Assistant

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team at Fairlight Medical Center. This individual must have exceptional customer service and phone etiquette, as patient care is our priority. The job will consist of checking in walk-in patients, including pre-registration and verification of benefit eligibility as appropriate; notifies nursing or radiology staff of patients’ arrival, schedules follow-up appointments, procedures and/or labs as needed. 

If the candidate holds a current medical assistant certificate they will have the opportunity to float between reception and medical assistant duties.

Urgent Care Provider

Fairlight Medical Center is looking for a Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to fulfill a unique opportunity delivering care to a wide variety of patients in an Urgent Care Center. Radiology services and bedside testing available on site.

Fairlight Medical Center is a locally owned Urgent Care clinic and Radiology center interested in providing the best care possible in our rural area .

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree as a Physician Assistant from an accredited University.

  • Ability to work within a small team and communicate effectively.

  • Unrestricted ND license prior to signed offer letter.

  • See a moderate volume of patients in a timely manner.

  • Proficient with Electronic Health Record.

  • 3+ years of experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care or Family medicine preferred. Will consider others if previous experience is applicable.

Examples of Daily Responsibilities for Medical Provider:

  • Perform patient assessment, patient history and physical examinations to develop appropriate patient plan of care. Patient volume is a variety of ages and complexity.

  • Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options.

  • Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity.

  • Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions

  • Provide medical explanation and counselling to insurance companies in obtaining prior authorization for testing as required.
