Walk-In Clinic Registered Nurse

The Clinic Manager should be prepared to complete the following duties:

Coordinate Provider, Medical Assistants, Nurses and Receptionists schedules.

Hire, train, supervise and evaluate Medical Assistants, Nurses and Receptionists.
-
Resolves any medical-administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional, healthful clinic atmosphere.
-
Review and complete staff time for payroll
-
Arrange, participate, and document clinic meetings and quality improvement.
-
Serve as liaison between Medical Director and other Clinical Staff
-
Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional development & outreach efforts to keep current in the latest health care trends and developments.
-
Coordinate and document staff trainings.
-
Purchasing- Order medical supplies and equipment.
-
Coordinate patient fee and billing changes with business owner.
-
Maintain Medical Protocols and provide for updates after review with management.
-
Participate in ongoing quality assurance review including safety office responsibilities.
-
Responsible for instructing the clinic’s mission and strategic vision to all direct reports.
-
Provides leadership in developing, implementing and planning the clinic’s business plans.
-
Recommends, develops and implements improvements for the business.
-
Keep medical and business directors updated on current trends, problems and medical activities to facilitate policy making.
-
Establishes, secures approval and oversees clinic operating policies and procedures.
-
Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing important innovations or quality of care.
-
Ensures clinic compliance with all regulatory agencies.
-
Continually monitors all operations, programs and initiates appropriate changes.
-
Maintain quarterly medical inventory, storage areas and emergency kit.
-
Arrange for routine equipment servicing and prompt repairs when needed.
-
Meet with vendors and assess new products.
-
Maintains strictest confidentiality.
-
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Applicants must have a strong medical background as well as experience in leadership/management positions. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Business Management is highly recommended but not required.
